Episode: Towards Mr. Morol's House

After meeting their parents after a long time, Asem and Rafiq were much refreshed. Asem and Rafiq took Kanchan and Sham to their post office early morning. Asem and Rafiq were explaining to them how to do what? Kanchan and Sham were quite intelligent. They understood everything very quickly. So, Asem assigned them the responsibility on the first day.

Rafiq said to Asem: “Asem, you train them for a month and send them to our village.”

Asem: “I understand what you said. But, I think it would be better if they were kept here for a few more months.”

Rafiq: "Do whatever you think is best, but their English learning is a little more important."

Asem: "You spoke well. It is very important for us to arrange for them to learn English for a few days. If we cannot learn to communicate with the English, our society will lag behind."

Rafiq: "Do you remember, today our Morol Mashai's house was called."

Asem: "Yes, I remember. I feel both safe and scared."

Rafiq: "Why? Have we done anything wrong? Let's listen to what he says first. Then, we will be happy or not. However, I think there is no reason to be scared."

Asem: "Then, I guess I'm worrying unnecessarily."

Rafiq: "You don't need to worry unnecessarily. I think it would be better to stay calm. Now, after explaining the post office work, we should go to Morol Mashai's house."

Asem: "Yes, let's go."

Saying this, they explained to Kanchan and Sham the responsibilities of being trained and the employees, and they set off towards Morol Mashai's house.

Episode: The gate of the Morol house

That day, they set off towards the house of Morol Masai in the small town as per the address in the letter. The small town seemed to be getting more beautiful as they progressed. Suddenly, a huge walled house came into view in front of their eyes. As we approached the gate, the guards asked, “What do you want here?”

Asem: “My name is Asem and he is my friend Rafiq. We own the post office in Veratia Ganj. We were sent a letter yesterday to come here. Can we enter?”

Chief Guard: “Guards, check them.”

Guard: “Do you have any evidence?”

Asem: “Yes, sir.”

Rafiq whispered to Asem: “These people have caused a great mess. Did you bring the letter with you?”

Asem: "Yes, don't worry."

Guard: "What happened, show me the proof."

Asem: "This letter is its proof."

Taking the letter in his hand, the head guard, rubbing his bald head, said in a shy voice: "There's a mistake, sir. Actually, I'm in charge of the gate, so I'll check everyone a little bit."

Asem said to the head guard: “What will you do if we file a complaint against you?”

Head guard: “Sir, please don’t do this. From now on, whenever you come, I will let you in in exchange for some silver coins.”

Rafiq smiled and said: "How much do you have to pay?" Chief guard: "We are poor people, only 10 silver coins."

Asem: "You see, it's your responsibility to check the stranger, not to take bribes. Because the Morol Mosai pays you. If someone gives you something, you can take it. But, you can't take bribes to let someone into the house."

Umme Nigar Sultana, the daughter of the Morol Masai, saw and heard these scenes from the roof of the Morol house. And she seemed to have become even weaker towards Asem. Umme Nigar Sultana was fascinated by Asem's good qualities and went crazy.

Episode: Inside the Morol House

Finally, Asem and Rafiq entered the Morol House. The splendor inside was a sight to behold. It was like a palace in some fantasy kingdom. It was as if they could never express in words what they were seeing. There were three roads inside this house. At the beginning of the road, on the left side was the residence of Morol Masai and his family. As they looked on the left side, they saw that everything was written in Bengali, Persian, Arabic, and English. And, no one except family members was allowed to enter there. The middle path was for the guests to reach the sitting room, while the right side was for the guests to rest and stay. Everything was written in these four languages everywhere. On the three sides of the house were canals and gardens decorated with flowers and fruits. Which would have enchanted anyone. After entering, they spent some time in peace. Suddenly, two men with guns came from the right and asked them, “Sir, are you the owner of the post office in Veratia small town?”

Asem and Rafiq answered in unison, “Yes, sir.”

First gunman: “Welcome, everyone. Come inside with us.”

Following the two gunmen, they reached the meeting rooms. There they saw five meeting rooms. In the smallest meeting room, they sat waiting for Morol Masai. They were served breakfast of various fruits, fruit juices, and pitha. After the meal, they were informed that Mr. Morol would meet them in the meeting room shortly. Meeting Mr. Morol was like receiving the moon in their hands.
