Episode: Asking an
Islamic Scholar
After everyone had cleaned up
from home, they set off for the mosque. Everyone had a mountain-like hunger to
know whether aliens really existed. Or could it be something else? The evening
prayers began. All the Muslims in the mosque, in a state of purity, proclaimed
the greatness of the Lord Allah. The evening prayer ended with the message of
peace. After end of the prayers were over, they went to the Islamic scholar of
the mosque.
Robin said with great respect,
"Sir, we all learned about aliens in our class. But what is your opinion
about aliens?"
Islamic scholar: "What
science calls aliens, Islam calls them jinn. Our Prophet (PBUH) was told
everything about this in the Quran."
Hiro: "That means aliens and
jinn are the same!"
Islamic scholar: "You're
right."
Rubel: “Sir, can you tell us more
about the jinn?”
Islamic scholar: “Okay. I will
tell you. However, I may not be able to tell you everything today. Because I
am in a bit of a hurry today. And it would not be right for you to stay out of
the house for long at night. You should go home quickly and start studying.”
Mirun: "Sir, then you
start."
Islamic scholar: "Our great
Lord created the jinn nation many years before the creation of humans. There
are good and bad among the jinn too. The jinn also follow different religions.
It is not known anywhere who is the leader of the good jinn. But the leader of
the evil jinn is Iblis. Before the creation of man, he was the chief leader of
the angels. The Lord Allah cursed him for his arrogance. And, based on his knowledge,
the jinn were able to reach the limits of the first heaven."
Hiru: "We humans have also
reached the sky."
Islamic scholar: "What we
call the sky is not the sky. It is space. Except for some prophets and
messengers, no human has ever found the sky."
Rubel: "Why, sir?"
Islamic scholar: “Because there
are two ways to reach the sky. The first is through the void that we see. And
the other is short and unobstructed.”
Robin: “What kind of fact, sir!”
Islamic scholar: “You must have
seen multi-story buildings.”
Everyone in a soft voice:
"Yes, sir."
Islamic scholar: "There are
both stairs and elevators. Climbing the stairs takes more time, and any part of
the body can be damaged if you stumble. But there is nothing like that in an
elevator. Similarly, there are difficult paths and short paths without
obstacles to go anywhere in the universe from Earth. And, the leader of the
evil jinn, Iblis, knows that short path and the design of the aircraft needed
to travel along that path. Which he has taught his followers to master.”
Mirun: “Sir, that means they are
far ahead of us in technology.”
Islamic scholar: “Yes, you got it
right.”
Rubel: “Sir, that means what
science calls aliens, Islam calls jinn.”
Islamic scholar: "You are
right."
Then Rubel told the Islamic
scholar about his dream in detail.
Hearing that, the Islamic scholar
said, "Our Lord Allah has created a world of dreams. Where people's souls
go after they sleep. There they sometimes see the things of their imagination.
Again, sometimes God would present a small parable about his future in that
dream.”
Finally, after the discussion,
Rubel and his friends and the Islamic scholar each went home.
Episode: Dinner
As soon as he got home, his
mother asked, “Is it a good sign to be out at night, Rubel?”
His father also shouted. Rubel
then told his parents all the details and sat down at the study table.
When it was 10:30 at night, his
mother came and took Rubel to the dining table. Rubel and his parents enjoyed
this time very much every night. After eating, Rubel went to his bedroom, and
his parents went to theirs.
Episode: The Shining Moon
That day, before going to bed,
Rubel opened the window and peered outside. The soft light of the moon in the
sky seemed to be rocking his house. In this enchanting moonlight, Rubel became
emotional about the alien, or jinn, for a while. He was thinking about the
alien Sarazia Yakib he had seen in his dream during his afternoon nap. Would he
come again? It was just a fantasy, as the Islamic scholar had said. Thinking
about the eventful day, he drifted off to sleep. Rubel's bedroom in the staff
quarters was illuminated by moonlight.
